Hi,
Yes, It looks like I am smiling...and it was a beautiful day and I took the most beautiful pictures during this 25 mile bike trip with my Hubby last June....but there were times along the way, many times....I wanted to be home doing laundry or baking something yummy. You know the feeling I am sure!
Today we will discuss Exercise and why it is so difficult to "Just Do It" ...well for me it is difficult. If you don't have a problem with it. AMEN!
The author of "Made to Crave" (Terkeurst, 2011) discusses on Day 10 of her Devo series why we may make excuses to not exercise. She goes back to touch on the fact that our bodies are God's temple; 1 Cor 6:19. In fact, it says we are a "Temple of the Holy Spirit"...and she discuss even further the story in Haggai....the Israelities who were put in charge of building God's temple took 10 whole years to finally get around to it. It always seemed that "something" got in the way. UMMMMM - for me...I have a LOT of somethings; work, kids, kids activities, making food, blogging, laundry, cleaning, reading, watching movies....how about you?
What are your "somthings" that get in the way of caring for God's Holy Temple?
Don't think so much about it and "Just Do It" .....with Spring here make it a time to Nuture your self...when you take the time to do this you also are caring for building God's Temple.
For me...I also find a sense of peace knowing I have chosen what is right!
HUSBAND UPDATE
Thankfully after 3 months of following the Lose it for Life...Now!...Wellness program...My husband has reversed heart disease. He actually REVERSED his heart disease so that his heart function is almost normal. He is so excited to be able to exercise again! That alone is very convicting to me. I have zero health reason's why I should not exercise, yet I choose not to. Shame on me! If you are interested in how he did this I will elaborate more on this subject on my Wellness Website and Blog.
Enjoy the pictures I took on this lovely bike ride. I may not like thinking about exercise. But when I do it I sure do feel great!
Plus I get to drink in all of God's beauty along the way.
Healthful Kisses,
JennyMay
