Hi Ladies,
I'm back! Spring break was lovely and I am newly rejuvenated and inspired by the beauty I saw while traveling down south to visit my family. I spent a lot of time reading, drawing, and relaxing in the sun. I was able to reconnect with myself and come back more devoted to my purpose than ever. This is because while being away from my routine I began to disconnect a bit from my goal and ironically our next topic for Day 8 is...."I'll Start Again on Monday!"
Psalm 5:1-3 - NIV
1 Listen to my words, LORD,
consider my lament.
2 Hear my cry for help,
my King and my God,
for to you I pray.
consider my lament.
2 Hear my cry for help,
my King and my God,
for to you I pray.
3 In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly.
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly.
Today the Author of "Made to Crave"...talks about Making God the focus of each morning, not food. I know that I have vowed to take care of myself on Monday morning and by Tuesday I have to start all over again. I am resolved to shifting my focus now toward God. My cravings should be that of the Proverbs 31 woman. She was so focused on her God given role as wife, mother, citizen, business women, but I am sure in order to excel in these things, she placed her Lord first in her day.
How else could she accomplish all she did?
Coming back from a weeks vacation I have to say that unfortunately I said the same thing. "It's ok...I will start again on Monday". I was so disapointed to see I had gained back the 4 lbs I lost last week, so again, I am resolved to follow this plan. I am doing it for me, but God is my Focus, Food is my Fuel and the very thing that helps me to serve the Lord with all of my Heart, Soul, Mind, and Spirit! There is nothing more important than that. Especially not cup cakes!
I hope this inspires you! I want everyone to reach their own person level of Wellness. I am not there yet....but you can follow my journey on my other Blog...and I will never give up trying!
Please enjoy these shots of beauty. As you know beauty inspires!
Kisses,

Jenny, I've been working on some exercise and diet goals this week. I said, "No" to the little chocolate eggs all week, sounds silly but that combined with keeping on track with my exercise feels like a milestone for me. I would like to lose about 25 lbs.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Keep it up, don't ever give up. I have 13 more to go to goal no. 1....so we can do this together.
ReplyDeleteHEE!
