Growing A Modest SPRING Wardrobe

Hi Happy Homemakers!

With snow still on the ground I am carefully rebuilding my modest spring wardrobe.

It seems yearly I need to buy summer shoes because I wear them so much by the end of spring, summer, and fall they are ready for the garbage.  So this year I purchased two pair that I think will look cute with long dresses and skirts.

These will be perfect for running errands, going to baseball and soccer games, cleaning house, and taking long walks with my husband after dinner.  Can't wait for SPRING!  I found some lovely dresses, so cheap on eBay, you wouldn't believe it if I told you!

Of course, a pretty cardigan is essential because I get chilly even when it's 70!

So that is it.  I have my Sping and Summer modest clothing.  I have been wearing mostly dresses and skirts all winter and have been much more comfortable and warm believe it or not.  In the summer, I am also much more comfortable in my long skirts and dresses.  So much more flattering than shorts, especiallly on someone my age!

Here is one of my favorite summer outfits.  A long flowey ocean blue skirt that is in two layers, with some white eyelet, and a nice cotton top from the dress barn that I have had for several years and never looks worn out.  Oh how I am dreaming of those warm summer breezes!

Spring Kisses,
JennyMay
