Hi Dolls,
Well, I am faced with a very 21st Century problem. With the current economic crisis and the housing down turn it is necessary for me to find a part time job OR a full time job again making more money.
Although I have enjoyed my extra time at home, organizing, cooking, and tending to the family needs. The Proverbs 31 women also provided for her family financially. So now this is what I must do.
I feel prepared for the change. I have learned to delegate and plan our meals ahead of time so when I do get home from a long day, I can get a meal on the table in 60 minutes or less. The other thing I have mastered is preparing food that morning so a family member can put it in the oven before I get home, that way everyone enjoys the smells of a delicious meal. Of course, the crock pot is a gem! That goes without saying...but I had to say it.
I will keep you posted as to how it all turns out. I am very excited!

I can relate to this, I'm going through this too. I am hoping my husband finds something full time soon but I fear I will have to continue working more to make up for the loss of income. I find it difficult to balance everything. I have been giving my kids and husband more to do since I started working. I love my crockpot. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy...just reviewing my old posts...I am sorry that I posted this...and am not going back to those crazy hours...life is too short and my job in the home is so much more important.
ReplyDeleteGuess what...never had to go back to full time...Thank the LORD! Balance is so important...the extra money would not have been worth the sacrifice I would have made in the home.
