Julie and Julia Night!

Hi Dolls,

I have been so busy!  However, I was able to sneak in a Julie and Julia night with my sisters!  We cooked as much french style food as we could, wore my vintage aprons, did some wine testing, AND ate, ate, ate...after all the eating and drinking and laughing...we finally put the movie in a I promptly fell asleep....oh well...the pictures will tell the story of the wonderful time we had together as sisters.  I am so blessed to have them in my life.

My sister Julie in her Kitchen!  She made Julia's Ratatouille.

You can never have too much Butter!

My sister Janet...she made the Crème' Brulee!  YUM!

Pictured here are all the wines we tasted and the fresh bread, olive oil and spices, brie, sardines, crackers and grapes....The wine that won the best tasting was the one that I brought...It was the Barefoot brand for 5.99 - Pino Nior!  From Target!!  We had 20 dollar bottles of wine to choose from and this was our favorite.

My "baby sister" Jane....We are having a ball by this time!

The 50's housewife picture!

Our meal was Fantastic....I made the white wine and butter reduction sauce to go along with the steak and artichokes, bread and grapes along with Julie's amazing Ratatouille made this a perfect meal!

le piece de resistance'  - i hate to admit this...but I ate two of these...we will talk about my "no sugar" diet next week...gotta get back on the wagon!  But this was so worth it!

Kisses Dolls and BON APPETIT!
