Day 9 - Sunday - A Not so Typical Sunday

Hi Dolls,

I am not feeling so great today and either is my eldest and my hubby so we are all home sick. I made a big pot of beef broth soup - of course, I had this one handy in the freezer. I whipped together some orange jello for Liz - she is throwing up and we also have some diet 7-up and crackers. So not a fun day around here. Thankfully - my 3 youngest are at the ex's house and I can relax today. In fact, I hate to admit this but it's around 2:30 and I am still in my robe.

Anyway, I have been in a terrible bidding war for the beautiful-vintage red/pink shirt dress....see below...



Thankfully - I did win this blue number and a cute pair of gold wedges that will be adorable with my sassy vintage aprons - I will have to snap some pics and post those later. Ohh lordy - you would not want to see what I am looking like now....Check out these adorable clothes and enjoy your Sunday.

Vintage Aprons...Nothing like a cute apron to put you in the mood to clean, cook and care for your home and family - nothing says Domestic Goddess quite like an adorable little apron with a sassy skirt or dress. Trust me, your hubby will love this look - there is nothing more femine or that screams - I AM WOMEN - more than this. It will make him adore you. Trust me...it's one of my secret weapons and has created a love between my hubby and I that I can not explain. I know, I know - it seems silly - but men adore when women are cute and vunerable. At least my man does and that's the way we like it. I'm happy and he's happy. He feels more masculine and I feel more womenly - and that is a wonderful feeling. There is a lot more too this concept than just the clothing you wear - because - it's more like the attitude of sweet submission that Peter talks about in the bible. This is what will make you beautiful - not a cute dress or apron - but wearing an attitude of patience, kindness, self-control and humility. Wow - this is the women I want to be on the inside - but it sure is fun to dress the outside as womenly as I can as well.





Also bidding on these adorable casual Keds - they will be perfect to wear around the house with adorable capri's or a cute jean skirt.



This just in...the adorable red/pink shirt dress is mine!! HEE! Can't wait to get my hands on that adorable dress and pair it with a sweet apron. Whoo Hooooo!!
